When working with child and adolescent populations, it is imperative to have an open mind about how to approach their behaviors, according to Hill Crest practitioner Jamie Sellers. As part of employee orientation at Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services, each staff member attends a “State of Mind” presentation led by Sellers, which encourages employees to tune into their own intuition to help them recognize the resources they have to effectively help others.
